Want to know how to watch Soccer in our area?

I've got Time Warner cable, so that's what I know. someone who has Dish or DirectTV should post instructions.

For the "New channel lineups" That started on Wednesday in Cleveland Hts:

  • ESPN2 comes with "Expanded Basic" Digital Cable - 302, 431 in HD
  • Fox Soccer Channel - comes with "Digital Basic" channel 318.
  • ESPN Classic - Digital Basic channel 304
  • Fox Sports en Espanol channel 814
    - The rate card says this comes with the Spanish Package, but I have this. Games are often broadcast in English - with a Spanish accent. If you want to hear "GOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL" this is the channel to watch.
  • MLS Direct Kick is an InDemand package available in the 761-770 range. It provides up to 150 MLS games per season - the website says it's $69. I'd probably do this if I actually had time to sit and watch games.
  • HDNet comes with the HD Tier on channel 471
  • Telemundo is part of Expanded basic, channel 803. It has occasional Mexican league games.
  • GOL TV and Setanta Sports are available only through Satellite (Dish and DirectTV) in our area. Setanta is the one English Premier League fans want, with the pick of the games. There are rumors of either or both of these coming to cable TV, If that happens we will post info.
  • Galavision, Telefuture and Univision are Spanish Language networks that carry some Futbol. Galavision is available on the Spanish Tier from Time Warner. I don't see Telefutura or Univision listed.
